Terms of Use

Last updated 11 October 2026Run by Number.com.au Pty Ltd, ABN 53 691 785 850

  • Terms of Use
  • Privacy Policy
  • Refund Policy

These terms apply when you use Open Basecamp AI at openbasecamp.ai, including our courses, the AI tutor, the Library and our MCP connection. Open Basecamp AI is run by Number.com.au Pty Ltd (ABN 53 691 785 850), the company behind Open Summit AI ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use Open Basecamp AI

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.

2. Your account

  • Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. You can sign in with your email or an Australian mobile number.
  • Keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • One person per account. Don't share or sell your access.

3. Free content and membership

  • With a free account you can watch the panels and keynotes from Open Summit AI and read the Library. We may add or remove free content.
  • Membership unlocks every course, including new ones. There are two ways to pay:
    • Monthly: A$99 a month.
    • Lifetime: A$2,800, paid once.
  • Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We will tell you before a price change applies to you.

4. Payments

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
  • A monthly membership renews automatically each month on the day you joined. We charge your card each month until you cancel.
  • If a payment fails, we may pause your access until it is paid.
  • We email a receipt after every payment.

5. Cancelling

  • You can cancel a monthly membership at any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for, and you won't be charged again.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Lifetime membership

  • Lifetime membership gives the account that bought it access to every course for as long as Open Basecamp AI runs. It can't be transferred to another person.
  • If we ever close Open Basecamp AI, we will give lifetime members at least 90 days' notice. You will be able to download any certificates you have earned.

7. Codes and free memberships

  • Some codes, such as OPENSUMMIT26, give a membership at no charge. Each code's limits, such as an end date or a maximum number of uses, are shown when you use it.
  • One code per account. We may cancel a membership obtained by breaking a code's rules, for example by using several accounts.

8. AI features

  • The AI tutor and other AI features use models from third-party providers.
  • AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it.
  • Nothing on Open Basecamp AI is legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Speak to a qualified adviser about your own situation.
  • Fair use limits apply, such as a daily message limit. We may change them to keep the service running well.
  • Don't put sensitive information, or other people's confidential information, into AI chats.

9. MCP and API access

  • You can connect your own AI assistant to Open Basecamp AI through our MCP connection. It acts for you, with your account's access. You are responsible for what it does on your account.
  • Don't use the MCP connection or any API to copy courses in bulk, resell content or get around access limits.

10. Courses, content and certificates

  • Our courses, videos, text, quizzes and the Library belong to us or the people who license them to us, including Open Summit AI speakers.
  • While you have access, you may use them for your own learning. Don't copy, share, resell or publish them, or use them to train AI models, without our written permission.
  • A certificate shows that you completed a course. It is not an accredited qualification. Anyone with your certificate's link can check that it is genuine.

11. What you post

  • You own the comments, questions and posts you share. You give us permission to host and show them so we can run Open Basecamp AI.
  • Keep it respectful and lawful. No harassment, hate, spam, illegal content, or other people's personal information without their permission.
  • We may remove posts that break these rules. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Things you must not do

  • Break the law, or use Open Basecamp AI to harm anyone.
  • Get into another person's account, or test or bypass our security.
  • Scrape, crawl or copy content in bulk, by any means.
  • Copy or reverse engineer the site, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Upload malware, or overload or disrupt the service.
  • Use the AI features to create harmful or illegal content, or try to make them reveal their instructions.

13. Changes

  • We may change, add or remove features and courses. If a change significantly reduces what members get, we will tell you first, and monthly members can cancel.
  • We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new date. For significant changes, we will email you before they apply.

14. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us, and to a refund for the unused portion or to compensation for its reduced value. If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have it rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to cancel the contract and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the service.

Nothing in these terms limits these rights.

15. Our liability

  • Where the law allows us to limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again, or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

16. Closing an account

  • You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account does not by itself give you a refund. See the Refund Policy.
  • We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
  • If we close your account when you haven't broken these terms, we will refund the unused part of your current monthly period. For a lifetime membership, we will offer a refund that is fair given how long you have had it.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we can bring claims in the courts of Victoria or any other Australian court with jurisdiction.
